So, this is from last October or November, it's not all accurate. I typed out my method for my friend so he could reference back to it when I taught him, and I used it again when I came back to BA in old school, to refresh myself on how I used to poison. Some things are different, like there are no life points, so the poison does slightly less damage I guess, and I hear you need to re-poison healers on wave 6 now, pre-EoC it was wave 8. If this is helpful or you have any questions on interpreting my lingo, feel free to pm me in game, my private chat is almost always on, and I don't mind teaching people what I've come to learn.
I've also noticed that since the general population is lower level than when this guide was made, and there are so many pures, you have to do wayy more healing of players than I remember from pre-EoC.
One more thing, healing is hard to have a solid method, if possible at all. This is because healers can be lured every which way and just go wherever they please. Mostly, good healing comes from judgment (gained from practice, and practice, and more practice), and being watchful of your healers. Basically, you want to observe the health, damage being done, and location of however many healers you can at once, and then use judgment to know where to poison.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Each poison pack will do 48 damage initially, then hit another 48, then start decreasing by even numbers (46, 44, 42, 40, and so on.) Don’t heal anyone unless absolutely needed until you finish poisoning. For instance, if an attacker is wearing void and is around or below 300 life points, you should consider filling your vial and healing them.
^ I left this in hoping that it might explain how my method is a little different now. An important thing to note is that instead of having to use three poison packs on a healer to kill it on, say, wave 7, you can use one, wait, use another and do the same damage as with 3 poison packs in quick succession.
Wave 1:
2 consecutive healers (shorthand: 2)
Alternate poison on each healer
Wave 2:
3 consecutive healers (shorthand: 3)
Alternate poison on all three; try to poison each healer at least twice before end of first call. If you do this, then you can just chill on the second call and wait for others to finish.
Wave 3:
2 healers, followed by another after death of first healer (shorthand: 2-1)
Poison the closest healer once, then run to the second one and spam poison on it. Call when done, and go to the healer spawn point and wait for the third healer to spawn. Then spam poison on it until it dies
Wave 4:
3 healers, followed by another after death of first healer (shorthand: 3-1)
Poison each healer once, then spam poison on either the first healer, or closest one to you (use your best judgment). When call switches, stand in front of healer spawn and wait until the 4th healer spawns. Spam poison on it too.
Wave 5:
4 healers, followed by another after death of the first healer (shorthand: 4-1)
Poison each of the first four healers, and try to heavily poison one of them while doing this. When the call switches, poison the last of the first four healers once more, then use your best judgment on poisoning first healer again or running to the healer spawn point. Spam all but 2 or 3 poisons on the 5th healer, then look at other healers and see which ones you should poison.
Wave 6: (OUTDATED, but might help get an idea of what to do)
4 healers, followed by 2 more upon death of first two (shorthand: 4-2)
Alternate poison on first 2 healers twice, and then poison the other two healers once each. If you have more time in the first call, poison the first two healers again. When the call changes, run to the spawn point of players and restock on the food from the first call. Run back to the northeast corner of the map and poison the 2 new healers using your best judgment.
Wave 7: (OUTDATED, but might help get an idea of what to do)
4 healers, followed by 3 healers upon death of the first 3 (shorthand: 4-3)
Alternate poison on the first 3 twice, and if time allows, poison the 4th healer. If you can’t poison the 4th healer in the first call, do it on the second. Then run down to player spawn point and stock up on first call poison packs. Run back to north east corner and alternate/use judgment on the last three healers.
Wave 8: (OUTDATED, but might help get an idea of what to do)
5 healers, followed by 2 healers upon death of first 2 (shorthand: 5-2)
Each healer needs to be poisoned twice in order to die
Method 1 (conservative)
Poison the first two healers each once, then wait for second call. When the call switches, poison the first two healers each once again, then poison the other 3 healers each twice (not alternating). After this, run south and restock on second call food. Use judgment on poisoning the healers after that.
Method 2 (aggressive) <--- personally, I've been using something like this in oldschool.
Poison the first two healers twice (alternating) then 2 poisons on 3rd healer. On second call, poison the 2 other healers twice each. Potentially use poison on the first two again, then run to restock. On the way there, destroy as much poison as you can. Then restock on all types of poison. Use judgment on poisoning after that.
Wave 9: (OUTDATED, but might help get an idea of what to do)
6 healers, followed by 2 healers upon death of the first 2 (shorthand: 6-2)
Each healer needs two poisons to die. But you have to wait until the first poison hits 46 before using second poison.
Poison the first three, and then re-poison the first two when you can. On second call, poison the third healer again and poison the other 3 so that they will eventually die (use second poison when the first hits 46). Run to restock after this, and destroy poison on the way to restock. Restock on all types, then use judgment for the rest of the wave.
Wave 10:
This is wave 7, but the healers spawn one spawn point to the left than their normal spot, and the queen comes at the end.
Assuming I get around to practicing and learning more about healing in oldschool, I might make an updated guide in the future. I hope this helps, I know it's a lot of outdated information, but I've found the general idea still works in oldschool.
